The Legend of the Indonesian Peacock

In Indonesia, there is a mountain in a field near Jakarta called Gunung Padang or “field mountain.” This mountain is believed to be a burial site for the ancestors of the present-day Indonesian people with tombs still inside! Some say the hill is a buried pyramid, but others believe a giant peacock may reside inside, waiting to be set free.
